Bio Microneedling

Bio Microneedling at Mulberries Aesthetics & Beauty uses 100% natural Spongilla Spicules, which are massaged into the skin, creating 3million microchannels. These microchannels are utilised to trigger a wound-healing cascade in the dermis,  stimulating your body to regenerate collagen and elastin – the good stuff that our skin needs and loves!

The spicules are not absorbed by the skin, instead they stay present for up to 72-hours and are then discarded with the outer layer of skin, which will peel off.  Skin renews within 7-days resulting in a natural, safe and effective dermal rejuvenation.

The Treatment…

The Bio Microneedling treatment involves massaging the sponge spicules into the skin, which penetrates into the dermis and replaces the need for physical needles. There is no visible skin breakage and no bleeding, however this treatment does feel incredibly abrasive on the skin and anaesthetic is NOT used.

After the needling phase of the treatment, a sheet masque containing Hyaluronic Acid (HA) will be applied to the skin and you will then be able to relax under an LED Phototherapy canopy, where further skin healing and improving benefits take place.

Treatment is ideal for the correction of skin of a wide range of skin concerns (please see below). For best results at least 4 treatments are required, 2 weeks apart.

The results from this treatment are incredible but it is important to be aware that this treatment is uncomfortable.

Spongilla Spicules can be seen as a powder to the naked eye but present as a sharp rod crystals under a microscope.
