  • Swedish Body Massage Open Close

Swedish Body Massage uses softer strokes on the bonier and more delicate parts of the body, and stronger strokes where there is thicker muscle coverage. This sensitivity to pressure makes it ideal for relaxation. The term “Swedish Massage” refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. The main purpose of Swedish Massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.

Swedish Massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid and other metabolic wastes. It increases circulation without increasing heart load. It stretches the ligaments and tendons keeping them supple and pliable. Swedish Massage also stimulates the skin and nervous system and soothes the nerves themselves at the same time. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested in a regular programme for stress management. It also has many specific medical uses. Swedish Massage feels good, is relaxing and invigorating. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and wellbeing.

  • Hopi Ear Candle Open Close

The candles are made from the high quality, natural ingredients of beeswax, honey extracts, sage, St Johns Wort, chamomile, beta-carotene and organically grown flax. The candles work on a chimney principle, drawing any impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed. They equalise the pressure in the head and ears, making them suitable for most conditions. Secretion flow is gently stimulated and the vapour collects and removes impurities or deposits. Most of these are carried away through the candle “chimney”, although some of them can be found in the condensed candle wax residue after removal from the ear, or could even work their way up to the surface 24-48 hours after treatment.

    45 minutes – £45.00

What can Hopi Ear Candling be used for?

    – Excessive or compacted wax in the ears

    – Pressure regulation in cases of sinusitis, rhinitis, glue ear, colds, flu, headaches and migraine
    – Stimulation of local and reflex energy flow
    – Energetic revitalisation in cases of hearing impairment
    – Relaxing and calming effect in cases of stress
