Obagi for Hyperpigmentation
Pigmentation is the natural colouration of the skin. It is produced by the pigment – melanin. Skin can be prone to hyperpigmentation – dark spots and discolouration, and hypopigmentation – white spots and loss of colour.
Hyperpigmentation is a common skin concern, often caused by sun damage, hormones, medicines and other factors. In some cases it can be sympomatic of another medical condition. Whilst in most cases, hyperpigmentation isn’t harmful, it can be unsightly and cause people to be unhappy with their complexion.
These before and after pictures show how Obagi has been used to treat hyperpigmentation. Our very own Claire Mead, who puts everything the spa offers to the test before recommending it, achieved these incredible results.
At The Mulberry Spa, we offer free of charge consultations with Claire Mead to enable a bespoke prescription skincare programme to be designed, with a view to improve hyperpigmentation in the short term and long term.
These pharmaceutical grade products cannot be purchased for home use without a professional consultation. The recommended programme may include some professional treatments to achieve optimum results.
Results are monitored and your programme can be adapted in line with the needs of your skin.
